Two Posts ~One Day

Me again, well after I posted earlier the decorating bug hit me again, LOL, I have been searching for something and I didn't know what, to put on either side of my armoire, I wanted it to be the same on both sides and then it hit me! I have had these shutters that my Mom got at a garage sale, they were an ugly brown color soooooo I painted them and distressed them then hung them here, I also hung some old ball jars from them which I plan on putting fresh flowers in! I love it and it will be nice for Summer for flowers oh and I can't forget to mention the bird house or my hubby will be very upset with me, we just redid our front porch and he made me some birdhouse stands out of the old posts aren't they cute! Go green~recycle & reuse.

The shutters look really cute next to the armoire. I love the birdhouse stand your hubby made. It all looks great together.
I was looking to see what you had on the top of the armoire to get some ideas. Nothing ever seems to look right on mine.

Kelly,
Everything looks just wonderful. I would leave the pine armoire that way because I love the texture and look of warmth it adds to the room. That's just my opinion though. I'm sure you'll figure it out and it will be beautiful. Everything looks already for Easter. Have a great weekend.

Wow! Those shutters were really the perfect touch! I also love your buffet table with the spring flowers. Did you paint that? So cute! I also just noticed the picture of your little Lulu on the side of your blog for the first time.. I just about died! I LOVE English Bulldogs! Lulu is absolutely adorable! Give her a big hug for me ; )
