My New Treasures!

I am in love with this new bed frame I bought the other day and wanted to show you all, it has roses painted all over it!! I am going to be putting this in the guest bedroom.
See the beautiful roses .............

A closer look................

I bought this metal sign at Marshalls, I thought it was cute.

A tiny cake pedestal ................

And this tablecloth, it looks and feels like an antique one. I'll show you pic's when I get the bed all put together, the lady that sold it to me has the bedframe at her house so I will be picking it up sometime this week, then I can get it all together. I think that I am going to have Jeff make me a bench out of the bedframe I have in this room right now, you may remember it was a dark wood and it isn't in very good shape so I will probably paint it and add some wood appliques to it, we'll see. I hope everyone has a good week!!

Kelly, Love the bed and the roses on the front. I just posted a cabinet on my blog with dishes in it that almost matches your bed.

What a beautiful bed. I just love it. The roses are so pretty. Did you find that in the antique shop you showed me? What is the name of that shop? I want Dave to check it out while he is there.
He left with the RV today. Staying somewhere in the Everglades. Hope it is a nice place. This is really going to take some getting use to. I miss him when he isn't here.

The headboard is pretty Kelly! I went to Marshalls, TJ and HomeGoods today in Michigan, found a few goodies for spring. You are right, the Easter decor was far less than last year.

Hey Kelly~I'm loving that bed. What a treasure, indeed! I cannot wait to see it all set up in your guest room. Are you working on it yet?

Punkie sends a big ol' bulldog kiss your way! I would love to see the pic of your bullie in the laundry basket. Considering that Bulldogs are not very coordinated, it would have been interesting to see how she got into your laundry basket.Punkie likes to get in my basket when it's full of clean clothes out of the dryer! Punkie gets her fat, flubbery cheeks cleaned and kissed a couple of times every day! Bullies are the BEST!

Hope you're having a great week!

Kelly, thanks for stopping by and leaving the sweet comment. Of course, I had to RUSH over to your blog as soon as I read that you had posted a pic of your darlin LuLu. Now that's a face I could fall in love with. Aren't Bulldogs just the best? Your baby is beautiful. When Punkie B gets into my laundry basket, I have to help her out too...I just tip the basket on its side and she waddles out! Give LuLu a big hug for me. Wish we were closer to each other. We could let the Bullies play and we could have a chat session!

By the way, have I mentioned to your that I lovelovelove your house!

GASP! Oh my gosh! When I saw your bedframe. I literally gasped out loud. It looks IDENTICAL to my bed. Oh my gosh. This is the bed I grew up with; it was my dd's bed, and now it's my guest bedroom bed. It was an antique when my mother bought it for me all those years ago and it will stay with me 'til they put me in a pine box.

I posted some pics of my pillows on the bed today. I can't remember at the moment if you can see the detail on the headboard in my pic or not. But I'm telling you, it's EXACTLY like yours! OMG! I've NEVER found another one like mine. I can't believe I click and come here to your blog and there it is! WOW! After 30+ years of having that bed, I have finally laid eyes upon another one like it. I'm in shock.

Ok, I couldn't resist. I snapped a bunch of pictures of mine last night to show you. It was night so there was no natural light. My camera has a killer flash so the pics aren't the greatest by any means. But if you want to see, they're on my blog now. :-)

I promise I won't harp on this anymore. I'm just so excited! LOL
