I'm Still Here!

Hi everyone and thanks for asking if I'm okay (; Yes I am kind of, I was going to take a little break and get some things done that I have put off but then my aol service decided I should take an even longer break than I expected! No service for days!! I was having withdrawels, LOL. I did get lots of things done like cleaning out drawers and closets then packing things up for Goodwill, my floors got a deep cleaning , laundry room cleaned up, dusting oh and lots of furniture moving! I guess you would call it an early Spring cleaning. The only casualty of all this hard work is my knee, I have injured it and can't hardly walk right now! Anyways I found these adorable sheep at Joann's craft store and thought they were so cute~ sooooo I bought some fake grass and just set them in it on my fireplace, simple I know but cute right??!! I wish I had more pic's to share with you but I am having one of those times where whatever I try to decorate I don't like it, as a matter of fact I took out all my Easter decor and started putting it up and thought I just am not ready and put it all back in the boxes and put it away, I don't know WHAT is wrong with me!! LOL, this is not how I am usually, maybe it's the knee pain?? I hope to get some inspiration soon! I have missed you all (;

Kelly I can relate to the knee pain, I injured mine a month ago and it has been painful. I finally went to the chiropractor and he said my pelvis was really out of whack, I am definitely feeling better. Your mantel looks adorable.

Hugs,
LeAnn

P.S. Put some ice on your knee several times a day.

Oh Kelly, your post just made my day!! You know I'm taking a break too, and I just can't seem to get back on track here. I keep rearranging everything and it just doesn't feels right and it is too darn dark to take good pictures too. We need spring!! Well, I hope you knee will get better soon!! and I think your fireplace looks adorable.

Hi Kelly, glad you are back. Love the little sheep in the grass. I'm feeling about the same way you are minus the knee pain, so sorry you got hurt. I've been doing some rearranging and we added a huge entertainment center to the family. Unfortunatly it is just not coming out picture worthy.
Any way, again it is good to hear from you. I always love coming by.

I love your little sheep on the mantle. Adorable! I haven't started decorating yet for Easter. I will soon. I haven't felt like doing too much lately. When I get home from work I am just so tired!

I sure hope your knee feels better soon. I love your blog and I adore your mantle. I actually have grass growing in the rain gutter above my front door. I'm thinking if I go to Joanne's and buy one of those cute little lambs and stick it up there, maybe, it will remind my husband to clean the rain gutters. L.O.L

Glad you are back and I love what you did with your mantle! We all go through those phases about being inspired...I am in the same boat...I did one little vignette for spring...but keep walking by it and moving stuff...not sure how long it will last...lol! I am hoping inspiration strikes soon too!

Hi Kelly,
Ok here is just an idea. When you don't like your decorating take the pictures anyway because your worst decorating would make for the best for some of us! You could never do anything bad! I LOVE THE MANTLE!
Big hugs and get well wishes

I think the mantle is darling!
I understand the "not liking anything" part but GOOD for you on getting spring clean done-that is WAY ahead of me-I can't even get motivated for that. Hope your knee is better soon...mine is hurting too...we're too young for this!

Hi Kelly...glad to see that you're back. So sorry to hear about your knee...I can sympathize with you about knee pain! Last summer I was on a jet ski in the lake and a boat ran over me and shattered my knee...the docs fixed it but since I favor the bad knee when I do anything...now my "good" knee is going bad! It's hard to get around with a bad knee. I wish I knew of some magic trick to share with you to reduce the pain! I use the heating pad when it's real bad and take Aleve.

I love your mantle...it's simply adorable...you're way ahead of me! I need to do Spring cleaning for sure and haven't even thought about decorating for Easter! Maybe my internet provider will go down and I can get something done around here!

Take care of that knee...

hugs~Donna
