My New Lampshades!

Just thought I would show you my new lampshades for my kitchen lights. I picked these up at Ikea, I thought they were so cute, the design on them is like hand sewn yarn, I don't know exactly how to describe it but they are really pretty. Of course I uploaded my pic's backwards again , I swear each time I think it uploads them the opposite way, LOL. I hope everyone has a good weekend!!(;

Very pretty. I go crazy the way the pictures load now. You have to think backwards for them to be correct. Wish they would ask me for my opinion....oh, well...have a great weekend.

Good Morning,
The lampshade is a cutie. My lace panels from Ikea were too short so I ended up making the sheers but have a happy memory of my friend and I shopping there.
Have a great weekend.

Kelly,
That shade is so cute. I think it is called crewel, it is a scandinavian (sp?) art form. My Mom has her sofa done in this material in white.
Have a good week end.

The lamp shade is great...but what I was looking at was your kitchen cabinet....are they black???? I do not think I have seen a picture of your kitchen....I am redoing my kitchen cabinets next year and the color I'm looking at is black....I found a picture about 6 months ago and that was it...I love the contrast with the light and dark..so everytime I see black I'm sold all over again.....so after I finish up a few more projects I'm on to the kitchen.....that will be a lot of work because I'm redoing a few things...always something.....
Hugs,
Mo :-)
