A Perfect Day With A Sweet Friend !

Have you ever met someone and felt like you have been friends forever? Well this is exactly how I felt meeting Becky for the first time. You go through all the doubts about whether you should actually meet because you have certain expectations about a person, just knowing them from their blog, but I have to say that she and her husband Dave were just as I imagined them to be and we had such a great day . She came to my house first and thank goodness she wasn't dissapointed, then we were off for some shopping and lunch. The day ended to soon for me and I was sad to see her a Dave drive off! It actually brought a tear to my eyes, I wish we lived closer so that we could do this all the time. Dave and Becky are the sweetest people and I enjoyed every minute of our special day together, thanks so much Becky!! She also brought me a bike basket for my bike that I will get very soon, especially now that I have a great basket to go on the front of it!!
Big hugs and thanks~Kelly
I also wanted to say that I am leaving today to go to my husbands 25th class reunion so I will be gone til Sunday, I sure will miss everyone and I will visit when I get home.

How awesome you all got to meet! I'm so glad you had a nice time.

The chairs look super. LOVE the fabric!!

Those curtains are a steal. I've got to get to Target. Love the turqoisey ones with your table in the bedroom. Perfect!

Hi Kelly!
Sounds like fun-lucky you! I love the chairs-can't wait to see how you trim them out. I have that same sheet set!

You asked about my green color-it is from my little local paint store. It looks a lot like one of the feature homes in the new romantic homes mag. If you want the formula I can send it to you-I think it could be mixed at Home Depot and it would come out very close. Just LMK.
Have a great day,
Rene'

Hi Kelly,

Thank you for your words of encouragement. I appreciate them so very much. I know I need to be more patient with things like this blog. There is a story I need and want to tell, but I don't want to tell it too soon without knowing there will be people out there to appreciate it and understand it.

I'm sitting here with my headphones on plugged into my computer CD player... and listening to Amy Grant... Live. One of her latest CD's. Does anyone else out there like Amy? I would love to be able to sing in a band that could do some of her stuff.

Kelly, within the last few minutes I checked out your blog and found it to be very intersting. Thank you for being you... and stop by and see me again. As I said before, I've been holding off on my "Penny For Your Thoughts" story because it is so monumental for me, that I figure that I needed "more" people to see it. But... then again, I shouldn't be so needy. :)

May I add you to my "Places I like to visit" list? I think that would be nice. Would that would be ok with you?

Thank you again for seeing me and noticing me and actually taking the time to send me a note.

Hugs,
PS
