Whew, I finally found something to redo, no I haven't repainted my whole house, I'm sure Jeff & the boys are glad about that, still sniffling & sneezing but I found something to do that wasn't quite as much work as a whole house redo, by the way I will always have the cottage style in case anyone was wondering. I am redoing my pantry doors(I won't show you the inside yet, it's to scary) but I had Jeff make me these doors for my pantry a while back and never got around to finishing them so I was thinking I would put chalkboard paint in the center of each door to write down grocery lists on and whatever else I come up with, I have some other ideas to finish them off, I'll show ya when I get them done(;

Your cottage is beautiful and what a great idea for your pantry doors xxx
ReplyDeleteWhat on earth would we do without projects? And potential projects? Yes, I will also always have this style. Natural, cozy, simple, colorful, makes-you-feel-all-fuzzy-inside decorating. I like the idea of the chalkboard paint.

Those are darlin'! What a sweet crafty hubby to make those for you!
ReplyDeleteI love your pantry doors and they will be so cute and functional with the chalkboard paint. I did a post a few days back about chalkboard paint. Is your pantry an open room or does it have a doorway going into it? I have been planning on putting an old screen door on my pantry entrance. I found the door and now I have to paint it and install it. I'm glad to hear that you are going to stick with the cottage style.

Kelly,
ReplyDeleteMy pantry is in my utility room also. It goes out from the kitchen. I don't even have shelves built yet. I have a piece of funiture in there that I use to store all of my food. LOL I plan to build a counter top on each wall and put shelves underneath with curtains hanging to hide my pots and pans,etc. I want to have one section of shelves just for food. Right now it is a mess! I hate going in there! LOL

Lee Laurie
That looks so cute! I can't wait to see it all finished! I love having a big chalkboard in my kitchen! I write down my weekly "to do" list on it every week! It's amazing how much more I get done so I can erase it off the chalkboard! mind games!
