The family room, look at that fireplace, can't you just imagine curling up in front of this with a big cup of hot chocolate and watching the snow falling outside, ahhhh!
The cute little kitchen and to the right you can see the stairs that lead up to the bedroom.
I love the color on the walls and look at the cute curtains. I already bought paint and I'm going to paint my son Jake's room like this.
I have to have one of these stoves in my dream cabin!
The dining room table was hand painted with pinescones!
Another view from the family rm into the kitchen.
The bedroom~I could soooo sleep here! I asked them if I could move in.....Please!
Now this is my cabin I could buy at Home Depot(it's actually a two story shed~but who cares right?? It is about the size of the cabin in the store and it's around $16,000.00 built on your property you just have to finish the inside!! I thought it was so cute!! Well enough dreaming for now......

Hey Kelly,
ReplyDeleteI love this cabin! I have a dream to have a little cabin one day too. I get this feeling every Christmas. They are just so warm and cozy. I use to live in a cedar home for about 8 years. I miss that house a lot. Some of the pictures that I post are pictures taken in that house. The fireplace was my favorite. I might have another one, one day. Even if its one from Home Depot.LOL

Omg Kelly I can so see that in your bunk house. And those curtains look like something I could actually do. They are darling. I bet we are going to see some amazing pictures of your son's room soon. Can't wait.

You're adorable Mrs. Long! =). I love this!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great little home that would make for some sweet little couple just starting out. My mind works like yours I think.
ReplyDeleteWhen the weather begins to turn frosty my love for rustic country returns every year. Thanks for the tour.
Hugs,
Sue
How beautiful. I've always had a dream of owning a log cabin that had a great room and a loft that overlooked the great room. What?! A girl can dream can't she? LOL
ReplyDeleteKelly, what an amazing cabin! I love visiting stores like that too that have that kind of "lodge" feel! If I had a second home it would all be in that style!! As a kid we had a cabin in the Catskill mountains ( upstate NY ) and it brings back such memories for me! I love the country rustic look! I have always wanted a Chandelier with antlers and just to fuss it up, lol, Id add crystals hanging from it too :) thats been one of my dream chandeliers , hmmm, maybe one day :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays :) xox
I would love to have your Home Depot storage cabin too! What a great retreat.
ReplyDeletehi kelly! i am so happy and honored that you have posted your award and my button! :) that store looks wonderful. thanks for sharing the pics! we are planning on visiting NC for spring break. i will have to do some shopping research!
ReplyDeleteOh Kelly,
ReplyDeleteOur old house was total cabin style. The first people who saw it bought it and I think it was the decor that sold it. We really changed things up in the new house. I was so tired of my fir tree and cranberry color scheme. Love your photos. Right now I want an old airstream to redo into my art studio in our back pasture.
Wow! I would love to move into this cabin too. I've always wanted a mountain cabin that looks like this. :) Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you could tell me what the demensions are for that and if you could tell me the name of that? If you could that would be AMAZING. Greatly appreciated. :)
