My Dream Cabin In The Mountains!

I was looking through my pic's from when I went to N.C. and forgot that I never showed you all these pic's. My Mom took me to this store in downtown Murphy where she lives , It's called Moosehollow, they actually have a two story cabin inside the store, it was like walking into a real life dollhouse, I just fell in love with this cabin! Look at the canoes on the roof, this is the actual cabin inside the store.
The family room, look at that fireplace, can't you just imagine curling up in front of this with a big cup of hot chocolate and watching the snow falling outside, ahhhh!

The cute little kitchen and to the right you can see the stairs that lead up to the bedroom.

I love the color on the walls and look at the cute curtains. I already bought paint and I'm going to paint my son Jake's room like this.

I have to have one of these stoves in my dream cabin!

The dining room table was hand painted with pinescones!

Another view from the family rm into the kitchen.

The bedroom~I could soooo sleep here! I asked them if I could move in.....Please!

Now this is my cabin I could buy at Home Depot(it's actually a two story shed~but who cares right?? It is about the size of the cabin in the store and it's around $16,000.00 built on your property you just have to finish the inside!! I thought it was so cute!! Well enough dreaming for now......

  3. Hey Kelly,
I love this cabin! I have a dream to have a little cabin one day too. I get this feeling every Christmas. They are just so warm and cozy. I use to live in a cedar home for about 8 years. I miss that house a lot. Some of the pictures that I post are pictures taken in that house. The fireplace was my favorite. I might have another one, one day. Even if its one from Home Depot.LOL

  7. What a great little home that would make for some sweet little couple just starting out. My mind works like yours I think.

When the weather begins to turn frosty my love for rustic country returns every year. Thanks for the tour.

  8. How beautiful. I've always had a dream of owning a log cabin that had a great room and a loft that overlooked the great room. What?! A girl can dream can't she? LOL

  9. Kelly, what an amazing cabin! I love visiting stores like that too that have that kind of "lodge" feel! If I had a second home it would all be in that style!! As a kid we had a cabin in the Catskill mountains ( upstate NY ) and it brings back such memories for me! I love the country rustic look! I have always wanted a Chandelier with antlers and just to fuss it up, lol, Id add crystals hanging from it too :) thats been one of my dream chandeliers , hmmm, maybe one day :)

    Happy Holidays :) xox

  12. Oh Kelly,

Our old house was total cabin style. The first people who saw it bought it and I think it was the decor that sold it. We really changed things up in the new house. I was so tired of my fir tree and cranberry color scheme. Love your photos. Right now I want an old airstream to redo into my art studio in our back pasture.
