The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year..........

I hope everyone enjoyed spending time with family and friends! I can't believe Thanksgiving is already over and now it's time for Christmas, where does the time go. I never want the holidays to be over, this time of year is just so magical, I enjoy every minute of it. This is a view from my couch, those candies on the table are so yummy and they remind me of my Nana's house when I was little, she always had them in her candy jar. I bought the little mouse in a jar and the elephant at Homegoods, the are Season's of Cannon Fall's, I love that company. Lulu(my bulldog) loved them also and thought I bought them for her, I had to put them up higher so she wouldn't eat them!
Hugs~Kelly
Update: Some people have left me messages about getting the ribbon candies and I just wanted to let you know I purchased the candies at CVS pharmacy.

  6. It really is the most wonderful time of the year!!
Your home is looking lovely; I especially like the ribbon candy in the jar. My dad bought ribbon candy for my mom every year at Christmas, so it's a doubly-sweet memory for me.

  9. Your tree and goodies look great . The candies remind me too of a very long time ago . There was always ribbon candy in a dish and the hard candy assortment that comes in a can . I think I'll buy some ribbon candy myself .... thank you for jarring my memory .I put up a small white tree this year too ,I've never had a white tree before . Happy Holidays to you !

  12. Everything is so beautiful! I love that ribbon candy too. My grandma had that every Christmas when we were little. I haven't had it since then. I will have to go out and buy some during the holidays. We are decorating my white tree tonight. Its kind of hard to find pink ornaments this year. I'm glad that I have my old ones from years ago. I have such a good feeling after I read your blog.

  13. Hi Kelly! I am SO jealous of your white tree!!! I want one so bad. I have all the pretty pink ornaments to go on it and everything! BUT, Chad wont let me have a white one :( It is the ONE and ONLY thing he has EVER put his foot down with in decor. I SUPPOSE I could let him have that one thing, lol! But secretly, I cant stand it! Your home is always so beautiful!!

    Love ya,
    Amy

  17. Hi Kelly,
Isn't it funny how certain candy during the holiday remind us of someone? My dad loved Chocolate coverd cherries. They make me quiver they are so sweet but the memories even sweeter.

  20. Your white tree is so pretty. I want a white tree!!! Someday. Your cottage is enchanting. I just bought one of those white feathered wreaths at Home Goods. And I have the pink shabby chic stocking(that I bought at Target last year. Haven't seen any this year, or else I would buy more). Our targets don't carry much rachel ashwell stuff anymore. Do yours?

  22. i agree with tracy's comment: your home is magical! my nana used to always have rosebud mint candies. does anyone remember those? how shabby chic they would be! i think they were made by russel stover. flat, pastel disks with rosebuds and leaves. minty. xo

also, kelly, i would love to give you my "treasured blogger" award. please stop by and pick it up. it is "tucked away" at the bottom of the right column of my blog.
