Oops, I put my pictures in backwards , oh well. I finally covered my chairs, I was worried about doing this because the seat cushions were not removable so I was afraid I would mess them up, but I think they turned out pretty good, I used pillow cases for the fabric. I still have to put trim around the edges but other than that they are done. WOOHOO! Please don't mind the skeleton in the background I have boys and they love him, I didn't realize I got him in the pic till right now. Enjoy your weekend!

Kelly,
Your chairs look beautiful. I love the idea of using pillow cases. I bought some pretty (cheap)sheets the other day to make seat covers with. They match some dishes that I have perfectly. They have roses on them, of course.
Hugs,
Lee Laurie
Kelly,
You did a great job on the chairs, that fabric is just perfect. I love the design of the chairs, so elegant and oh-so shabby chic! Are you going to trim them in gimp? I love recovering dining chairs. I somehow find it to satisfying (wierd, huh?). I love that the skeleton got in the picture...what would we do without our children? Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Victoria Lynn

I do have a curious question> I noticed you started a new blog and am wondering why- your other is so simular (my favorite is your camper)- just am new to this blogging thing and didn't know if your blog gets full or something and you have to start another one - have gone to a few today that have done the same thing which has peeked my curiousity ..

I'm having a giveaway this weekend...come on over!
It looks beautiful! I love that fabric!
Kelly,
I went back and looked at some of your older posts and I love your camper! It is so pretty! I'm jealous! I have a storage shed out in my backyard and boy do I have plans for it now! I'm gonna empty it out and put tounge and groove paneling up and paint it pale pink. I want to make me a studio in there. I have an old antique dining room table and chairs that was passed down to me from my great aunt. I'm gonna paint it white and cover the cushions like you did. I'm so excited! You have really inspired me! I guess I will have to take turns working on my cottage and my studio. Like I don't have enough to do already! Oh, I went back and looked and you and I do look alike. Isn't that something? Also my son,Cole favors one of your sons. Isn't that neat? You will have to show your son. Maybe we are related and just don't know it.LOL!! Your blog and home is beautiful.
Hugs,
Lee Laurie
P.S. Thats also neat about your dad's name being similar to mine. I was a month early and I weighed 5 pounds.Mom named me after her friend in high school. When I was in high school,I had a good friend named Laura Lee. LOL
Just wanted to drop by and thank you for weighing in on my latest post. Everyone's thoughts and opinions are very valuable to me.
Love the chairs!

That was too funny when you put in your comment about me thinking you were nuts! LOL. I say that all of the time. I wish that we lived by each other. We have a lot in common and we would have so much fun! We would probably stay in trouble with thrift stores and yard sales.I have a feeling that we would be like Lucy and Ethel!!!
P.S.I saw where you love to shop and decorate. My friends all call me Miss.Shopper. They say that I could have that as a career! LOL
Hi Sweet blog friend.....love the chairs.
I have a surprise and you would be the perfect person to help me put the final touches on it....Coming to Ca. anytime soon LOL

Quick question...the blue dresser with the white fronts in the background...did you paint that? If so, could you share with me the paint color.
I am trying to find the perfect blue and it's harder than it looks...lol.
Kelli
i love it, I really would like to come across a chair that shape and have a go at recovering
I'm wondering how easy the fabric bit of it was? I've got a couple of chairs in the garage and I am going to have a go on those

Hi Kelly,
I just looked at the Crown Pillow and it is made by Circo not RA....so I'm sure at some point it will be at your Target....
Hugs,
Mo :-)
too sweet for paying me a visit...thanks, you know I just bought a hot glue gun, I hadn't thought of using trim to hide the unfinished bit, I'll try that, I went out to the garage and I actually have 4 chairs to cover, you've inspired me to have a go, with a little bit of trepidation!
love your blog, I'm gonna come back later with a beer and read back...
