Welcome Fall

My burlap inspired curtains are from Kmart they are the Country Living brand, they were on sale and I bought all that I could find, I thought they were really cute for Fall, but wish I could find some more so I could put them in my kitchen. Don't mind my coffee table, it's a work in progress (;
I have my buffet by my front door which is in my family room. You may remember the piece above it, it used to be pink and it was above my fireplace a long time ago. I made the burlap "Fall" banner and added some black hooks to hang it from.
My vintage scale with some pears and some homemade honey from N.C. thanks Mom!
I bought these flower pictures at Marshall's, they look vintage and love them! Did you notice my doors in the picture below?? I was inspired by Kim at The Twice Remembered Cottage, she painted her door this color and I loved it so I thought I would try it, they are a dark brown almost black color, love them too!  I have been a really bad blogger lately and I'm hoping you all haven't forgotten about me, take care and enjoy!!

  6. Those burlap curtains are perfect for Autumn..and all year round. We no longer have a Kmart near us or else I would run right down there and get some. I really like all the changes you've made...I've done the same...simple, more white, neutrals and less R.A shabby chic rose prints. But I will never toss out my R.A stash...someday it will be considered 'vintage' and everyone will want it.

  8. I think the curtains look good as is - as there is one for each window...any more than that and it might look odd. Nice find!!!

    I think I would feel so at home there. I have a bad habit of putting my feet up under me on good friends sofas, I hope you don't mind.
