I'm Still Here!!
I just wanted to say hi and let you all know I am still alive!! I have had major comp problems here and then procrastinated coming back and I'm not sure why, I guess the longer you go without blogging the easier it is to stop. I have painted my dining/family rm gray but I am ready for a change again, crazy isn't it! I have the only house that is losing square footage because the paint , LOL, that's what my husband says!! What do you think of the gray?I have been trying to find some new dining chairs, I want someof the pressed back chairs, I think thats what they are called, I used to see them all the time but now I want some and can't find any, I would like to paint them white and distress them. I hope you all don't hate me for being gone for soooooo long?? Hugs~Kelly
I think the grey makes a lovely neutral in this space, if you get tired of the sapce, then punch it up by using colors as accents that you can change each season. Glad you're back, your blog is too lovely not to continue, but I do undersatnd the need for a break :)
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOSH! I LOVE the gray! Now I'm tempted to try that. I sometimes feel like I copy everything you do! haha!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back!
Loving the grey...it is so soft. Love the chairs you already have. This picure is so pretty, I think you should use it for your header.
ReplyDeleteYou are in trouble girlie!!! How can you leave us for sooo long!!! Just kidding...no, you take as much time as you need. BUT always know that you are dearly missed. Love you. ox~ Fairmaiden
Love it...isn't that the greatest thing about paint?! LOL about shrinking sq. footage...my boys give me that one too! So glad all is well and I think that is what would happen with me too if I stopped..have a great day!

Hello my friend. I have missed you. I have been bad about blogging too. I am addicted to FB now lol but I will try to get back to it from time to time.
ReplyDeleteI love the grey. It is beautiful. I have missed your talent!
Hey there...see everybody missed u!I'm not sure what kind of chairs u are talking about. I have to say though that despite your dislike of the grey it does look pretty in your photo. I bought paint today..will probably start painting tonight.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
LeAnn:)
The gray is very chic! Glad you're back! You were missed, Friend.
ReplyDeleteI bought our pressed back chairs at an Amish furniture store in Northern Ohio. Let me know if you want the name. They are very sturdy and made of oak.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see your back. I like the grey! I know what you mean about the paint, every place I've ever had has been every color under the sun! Can't wait to see more!
ReplyDeleteHi Kim! It is good to see you again but we all have "stuff" to do and sometimes it is just so hard to find things to blog about. I love seeing all your new ideas and photos!~ :) Patti

Glad you're back and love the grey- please tell me what the name and brand of this paint is. I want to paint with that color.
ReplyDeleteThe grey looks Beautiful! I just painted my living room grey.. What's the name of the grey you chose? I chose Benjamin Moore's Stonington Gray. Looks like grey velvet on my walls! I love how it turned out! Too bad we dont live near each other.. I have 6 pressback chairs & a table I'm trying to sell! Mine are Amish made. Maybe if you could find a place that sells Amish made furniture...
ReplyDeleteHope you have a Great Week!
Big Hugs ~ Teresa
Hi sweetie, Just found your blog through Cindy's Romantic Home and I can see the resemblance in your tastes! Both blogs are dreamy...Marcia

Hi . .I also found your blog through Cindy's. Try Craig's List for pressed back chairs. If you are talking about the oak pressed back ones. I found mine there dirt cheap.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that you stopped by. I have missed you too. I am going to try to get back in to blogging. I have a new camera and everything.
ReplyDeleteI like you have had computer problems. I guess I read too many blogs...:) Hugs

Oh my gosh, I highly doubt your readers hate you for being gone! LOL, I've been away about the same amount of time you have, well longer... and you're right the longer you stay away the easier it is to stop blogging. I'm hoping to start up again. I don't have that many followers though so I doubt they even noticed. Ha ha! :)
