A Picture Frame turned Chalk Board

I just wanted to show you this cute picture frame on a stand I picked up at Marshalls , it was hot pink so I spray painted it a cream color and then painted the cardboard piece that would go behind the picture with some chalkboard paint, I think it turned out kind of cute (; We are getting a cold front here today, yippee, but that means that it's dreary here so my walls look really dark in the pic's but I don't care bring on the cold weather, I can't wait!!

  13. Really cute! And I love the stand.
I'm envious of the colder weather. It's been in the 70's all week long here in Dallas.

Great idea too with the chalkboard; I was wondering how it would work on cardboard and if you'll be able to change out the message without ruining it? Keep us posted please!lol And your walls look pretty no matter what light! I agree about the colder weather too! Sincerely, Jeannette

  21. I just saw something like that at Hobby Lobby and thought to myself, hmmm...that would be cute if only it were a different color. Love your chalkboard idea, I'm going to have to go back for that frame!
    :)
Your rose plates look beautiful as well. I've done the same thing, put an item away because I thought I was tired of it but realized the house just wasn't the same without it.

  24. Some may feel squeamish about eating it, but rabbit has a fan base that grows as cooks discover how easy they are to raise — and how good the meat tastes.
