Look What I found!

I know everyone probably already has one but I didn't and I wanted one, look at the trophy cup I found, you will never guess where I found it, Homegoods and it was on clearance for $16.00, I have seen alot of bloggers displaying them and I couldn't find any until yesterday, I think it looks vintage too. Sorry about the dark pic again, we have overcast weather here again so it's hard to get good lighting.

I have also seen this idea around and thought it was so cute, I was in a store the other day and the lady was giving old books away so I took some to try this out, I removed the old covers to reaveal the binding, tied a ribbon on and added the flower on top that's it! I hope everyone has a great week, I still haven't used my paint sprayer, I did test it on a piece of wood but it has been so windy here so I wanted to wait for a good day , it seems like it is going to work out really good, no sputtering paint out and it made a really even coat onto the wood (;

  19. Well, I don't have a trophy cup and I can't believe I missed that one at my Homegoods. I may have to sneak over there tomorrow. I haven't seen in on the reg. priced shelves when I've been there lately, so chances are finding one on the clearance are probably not very good. I love how you have the pink roses in it. So beautiful!

  23. Hi again Kelly,
    Thanks so much for coming by today! I am so loving all my bloggy friends! Yep, I would totally take your son to the Dr. -that is exactly what happened to my Kenz...I just had no idea strep would cause such horrible flu-like symptoms! I have never seen her that sick! Poor thing, I'm so glad that part is over. Anyway, good luck w/ your son..if it is strep at least they can treat it & he'll get better. :)

  28. Hi Kelly! Don't you just love Home Goods, Marshalls and TJMaxx!!! It's always so fun to find objects of desire. I love what you did with your books. I have them all over in little ribbon wrapped clusters but I never though about the flower. I just bought one at Anthropologie that I couldn't resist. I was going to put it on a pillow but I love it on the books too!

  29. Love that trophy, Kelly! I had no idea Home Goods carried anything like that...what a wonderful display item, and it can hold an assortment of things. The books wrapped with ribbons is so much more romantic for our shabby chic homes! Great idea. Your home is sooooo gorgeous...no matter what you do, it will be fantastic!
