Well hello everybody, it has been way too long since my last post and I'd like to apologize for that but my Mom had to have surgery so I had to go take care of her in NC, she is doing great by the way, between that and school starting I just couldn't find the time to decorate! I was so inspired by Jennifer from the Old Painted Cottage, I couldn't wait to get home and take out my collection of white dishes and silver and redo my hutch, I moved my hutch from the living rm into my dining rm and got busy, I used things I already had but had not displayed for a long time, most of it was tucked away, I like the way it turned out and next on my list is to repaint the walls, I'm over the blue walls, it's been fun but I have had enough of the blue especially with this cabinet in here, when it was in my living rm it was up against a white brick wall so it didn't bother me so much (; Now what color to paint, that's the big question, I have a couple choices I'm looking at. Hopefully I will be back soon to show you my new paint color!

ReplyDeleteKelly love your new look for the hutch. I am looking forward to seeing your paint choice. It is always so hard for me when it comes to picking a color! When we moved in this old house 2 years it got a little easier as I bought all oops paint as we have so much painting to do! I have mixed several different shades to come up with the color for the guest room and the oops green was just perfect for my little nook!

That's difficult on the color. Picking paint is always a hard thing. I'm glad you are back, you were missed!
I didn't decorate too much in the camper just yet. I've been working with the warm colors and adding throw rugs in reds and pumpkins. It's perfect for this time of year!
