Hi girls, I just wanted to pop in and say hello!! These are my pretty pink roses from the rose bush that I haven't killed yet, LOL, no I'm not the best gardener, but I think I've mentioned that before, right now these roses are the prettiest thing around here with Summer in full swing it's hard to get motivated seems like all I see is half empty glasses of koolaid and partially eaten plates of food! I told my boys that the maid quit last month but no body seems to care, I really am enjoying the Summer vacation but time seems to be passing way to fast and I really am enjoying every minute of it even the mess, I hope everyone else is having a great Summer and I will be back soon(;
Hugs~Kelly
Your roses are beautiful. I bet you're not giving yourself enough credit in the gardening department, if you can grow roses. Summer does always go by quicker than any other season.
ReplyDeleteI always love looking at your pictures!

Hi Kelly....I know it seems like you are playing waitress all the time but one of these days the kids will be grown and gone...and you will miss that. Then the grankids come along and you are playing waitress again! lol Your roses are beautiful girl...we enjoy looking at everything in and around your home! Thank you for your sweet comments on my hutch!

Hi Kelly,
ReplyDeleteI don't think my comment posted just now, so I'll try again.
I really like your roses! Very pretty and I also like the shelf you did a few posts back. Come over to my blog and look at some "girlie blocks" I made; they look like something you would like to see.
Have a good weekend!

Your roses look very good. I transplanted my white Iceburg roses in the spring and they are struggling! However, my tomatoes are massive like man eating plants. I guess it can't be a perfect world. ha ha
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly! The roses are just beautiful! I love the dishes too :)
ReplyDeleteI so agree with you about summer going by too fast!! It is making me so sad :( Here is to enjoying the last summer days :)

ReplyDeletemy 1 rose "bush" was doing well during "the rainy season" but now, not so much. i'm trying to keep up with the watering though.
i am also trying to embrace the messiness of summer. i just have to keep the camera lens aimed high so that no one can see my floors! LOL
happy summer, sweetie

Summer always seems to fly by for me too. It really is my favorite season even 'tho it's hotter than blue blazes here in FL. Thank heavens for air conditioning, yes?
ReplyDeleteFor someone who claims not to be much of a gardener, those roses are gorgeous! :)
Love the pink flowers! Have a great weekend.

Hi Kelly..glad you took a few minutes from your "Vacation" to blog. I do remember when school was out for the summer--wishing I could redeem those times SO YOU ENJOY! (My baby is now 29 y/o and my grandchildren live in another state)I have so much going on with trying to remodel the farmhouse that my flowers are sorta neglected. I do have two red rose bushes that WANT to be pretty--maybe next year I will devote a little more time to them. I do love roses--my faves are yellow, though. Happy Summer...
ReplyDeleteI'm telling you anytime you want to meet at the Cat's Meow I would be happy to meet you there.
ReplyDeleteIt's not that bad of a trip and if you stop in Arcadia there is another beautiful shop there among so many Antique stores.
I will have to do a post on that one because I took so many pictures.
Have a great weekend.

Your pink roses are beautiful and I hope you have a wonderful summer!
ReplyDeleteI love your roses, Kelly. Mine didn't do well this year at all. We kept having heat advisories and we didn't have rain for 4 or 5 weeks. It was terrible. Of course I love your dishes too.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Lee Laurie
Pink rose china is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI was just at Rachel Ashwell's blog and she said that people are still selling her stuff, but it's fake...Do you know if the Shabby Chic line at Target is still hers?
Ehjoy those kool-aid glasses while you can...the roses are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHappy summer days!

ReplyDeleteHi Kelly,
ReplyDeleteWell I guess you just need to jump in that car of yours and get yourself up here! That sink came with even the knobs for a whatever vanity I drop it in. How cool is that? But if it inspired you to a road trip all the better.
