Just thought I would show you my new lampshades for my kitchen lights. I picked these up at Ikea, I thought they were so cute, the design on them is like hand sewn yarn, I don't know exactly how to describe it but they are really pretty. Of course I uploaded my pic's backwards again , I swear each time I think it uploads them the opposite way, LOL. I hope everyone has a good weekend!!(;
I have a large version of that lampshade and a cushion. I think they look fab in your house.
ReplyDeleteI have always loved those at Ikea, they look adorable in your kitchen. Did you read my comment I left you on my blog about the fireplace?
ReplyDeleteIs your mom still visiting?

LeAnn:)

Very pretty. I go crazy the way the pictures load now. You have to think backwards for them to be correct. Wish they would ask me for my opinion....oh, well...have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteKelly , the lampshade is cute as a bugs ear !
ReplyDeleteMy Dear Cousin has this shade...it is so pretty! I showed my sister your blog the other day...she kept saying "pastels, I think we need more pastels"...I had to clean my laptop afterward...I think I saw her drool...

Good Morning,
ReplyDeleteThe lampshade is a cutie. My lace panels from Ikea were too short so I ended up making the sheers but have a happy memory of my friend and I shopping there.
Have a great weekend.
Becky
Kelly,
ReplyDeleteThat shade is so cute. I think it is called crewel, it is a scandinavian (sp?) art form. My Mom has her sofa done in this material in white.
Have a good week end.
Sandyt
You sure do have some nice things at rose vine cottage two.
ReplyDeleteYour home is beautiful. The diningroom is my favorite,
ReplyDeleteI had one of those lamp shades in my last house the bigger one. I had so much red that it fit in just perfectly.

What a beautiful kitchen you have. And the lamp shade is lovely.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a nice Sunday.

The lamp shade is great...but what I was looking at was your kitchen cabinet....are they black???? I do not think I have seen a picture of your kitchen....I am redoing my kitchen cabinets next year and the color I'm looking at is black....I found a picture about 6 months ago and that was it...I love the contrast with the light and dark..so everytime I see black I'm sold all over again.....so after I finish up a few more projects I'm on to the kitchen.....that will be a lot of work because I'm redoing a few things...always something.....
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Mo :-)
